A solitary activity like lessons placed in the context of a community of learners and musicians creates lasting skills and personal relationships. Music is about making connections, and we aim to help our students do just that. A testament to the strength of our community, Erica was once a DFS student!

Head Teacher & FounderMorgann has been teaching flute for 20 years, and has played since age 8! In addition to Davis Flute Studio, she is the Professor of Flute at Millersville University and Franklin & Marshall College and a certified yoga and mindfulness meditation instructor. She performs with regional orchestras throughout Southeastern PA.
Morgann holds flute performance degrees from The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and pursued post-graduate study in France. When she's not making music, Morgann loves to read, travel, practice meditation and yoga, write for her blog and newsletter The B-List, and hang out with her husband and cat.

Associate Teacher
Erica has been teaching flute for almost 10 years and has been playing since she was 8! She graduated from West Chester University where she earned degrees in flute performance and psychology. In addition to teaching, Erica performs for local churches, plays in chamber groups such as Liberty Winds and a Music in Our Schools quintet, and occasionally subs for larger groups including Allegro Orchestra.
Outside of music, Erica is working toward a masters and specialist degree in school psychology from Millersville University. When she is not performing, teaching, or studying, you will find her camping in new places with her puppy!
